That doesn't make any sense, and I quit playing after that. Is it Call of Duty style where the game'll just belch you into any old group of players? This can be really good or really bad, depending on how you look at it. Not really happy with the boost system atm, dating site for but at least everyone can use it when they want it.
Perhaps this is not exactly true, but that's how it feels to me anyway. That might help the issue though I guess it risks splitting the playerbase. This will result in either your team's or their team's complete and utter destruction. Your post was really vague, though, when it comes to why you think this game changed things so much and requires much more skill now. There is no ranked or casual matchmaking it seems and ranks are not accounted for either. For me it is not even just the levels, it is the size of the team.

So no, player count isn't an issue. Which naturally is going to mean that skilled players will do better and better as the match progresses. Like I said above it's something of a dilemma. It was said that the game was far more frustrating and has rock bottom lows, however, don so I think it's somewhat natural to infer icyeyes thinks the game should be fixed. It depends on how many data centers there are close to where you live. Also why is there no balancing between matches? That's not as popular of a mode. There are a lot of other elements at play here too, like damage boosts, increased hip fire accuracy, no titan shield regeneration, bigger hit boxes, etc. Wiping the floor with an opposing team can be fun, and getting wiped is bound to happen sooner or later.
The first Titanfall was worse about this. My problems with the game so far are probably more personal taste than anything else. This is totally par for the course in any shooter.

When you play attrition, what type of scores are you getting? The problem may be somewere else. That's not just a Respawn thing. Just bought the game yesterday, excited to play, dating than the team balancing. Which makes pacing and balance feel completely different from the first game.
The dude is incredible and makes it look too easy. Combine that with the faster time-to-kill and it makes titans feel much more valuable and deadly overall. Just trying to deduce what's changed that might be causing matches to feel so uneven. Though it likely wasn't as much fun for the other team, hence the upcoming change.

Really just my initial impressions with it so far, but I'm beginning to think maybe it's not an increased skill ceiling as much as the way skill is rewarded now. Your total merit is in the upper right. It was a noticeable change that negatively impacted my enjoyment of the game, and I felt that way it even without them telling anyone that it was happening.

It looks like you're new here. Right now, teams are matched based on speed, how quickly they can get in a lobby and start playing. Eventually, new game modes will be added by popular request of the community. Also, to some people who think that the matchmaking issues are from low player counts, that is very false.
It's really easy to get pub-stomped by a stacked team in this game, but I'd argue that's the case for most games with this type of skill gap. It happened again and again. Bring back the main forum list. So I kinda agree that it might be a bit more punishing for lesser players, but it's not impossible.
Then will come the map packs, new spaces for your Titans and pilots to rampage and parkour. That's simply a matter of opinion. It has lots of potential, but there's work to be done in terms of diversifying gameplay and making matches more fair. Also there is a problem with teh matchmaking algorithm that will not allow me to find other players to start the campaign.
